Experience the Fascinating Pull of the Gravitator
Based on Galileo's 300-year-old theories of gravity, this amazing invention allows you to manipulate gravity and make "planets" float! It takes skill to adjust the pull created by the Gravitator, but with a little practice, the miniature Moon, Mars, Jupiter or Saturn included with this kit will achieve perfect levitation.
Each sphere will spin freely - just like a real rotating planet. L.E.D. illumination makes this a soothing night light, too.

Galileo's Experiment
In the year 1602, it is believed that Galileo Galilei was seen dropping cannon balls from the Tower of Pisa. He was experimenting to prove his theorey that ovjects of different size and mass would fall at the same rate. For the previous 1000 years, the writings of Aristotle went unquestioned. He stated "Heavier objects fall at a fater speed" (based upon their size and mass). Even though Galileo was able to probe Aristotle's theory incorrect, his theory could not be proven absolutely under the conditions of his day. In order to prove his theory was correct, he would need an atmosphere that was a total vacuum, and there was no such facility available during his day.
